HACS support Strive For Education to teach key Construction skills

Local educational institution, Strive For Education, supports young people whose needs aren't met by mainstream schooling. HACS supported them by faciliting a workshop for students to learn some key Construction skills such as bricklaying.

On Sunday 20th October, two teams from HACS took on the 26.2mile Yorkshire Marathon as a relay. Running legs ranging from 3 - 6.1miles, both teams completed the course in just under 4 hours, raising £6,552.50 (including Gift Aid) for Saint Michael's Hospice.

The HACS Group were once again proud to sponsor the reknowned Great Knaresborough Bed Race. A huge thanks to the team on the ground that provided all the traffic management, as well as the two HACS teams taking part in the race!

In 2020 we set out to raise £10,000 for Saint Michael's Hospice as part of our 35th anniversary year, the Pandemic set us back a year or two but this June we smashed our target as our fundraising total exceeded £15,000!

After two years of cancelled events The HACS Group were proud to both Sponsor and take part in this years Great Knaresborough Bed Race. With a theme of 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' our focus was on HACS Environmental and our special guest appearance from The Wombles of Wimbledon who helped us clean up our act!

The HACS Group have been working with Brierley Homes on a new housing development in Pateley Bridge and are proud to be supporting the local community by donating materials to Nidderdale's 'Men's Shed' charity.
